This clarification text has been prepared by GOS Tekstil Aksesuar Paz. Ith. Ihr. San. Tic. Ltd. Sti. ("Company" or "GOS Tekstil") in the capacity of data controller, within the scope of Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. Our company shows the utmost sensitivity to the security of your personal data and its processing in accordance with the law during call center activities, which are carried out to keep customer satisfaction and service quality standards at the highest level.
1. Categories of Processed Personal Data
During your communication processes with our call center, the following categories of your personal data are processed:
Identity Information: Your name and surname.
Contact Information: Your phone number and e-mail address that you used to call our company or that are registered in our systems.
Audio Records: Call center voice recordings taken during the conversation.
Transaction Security Information: Call date, time, duration of the call, and internal routing log records.
Customer Transaction Information: Your requests, order details, complaints, or other financial/operational matters that you share on your own initiative during the conversation and convey to the customer representative.
2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your collected personal data is processed by GOS Tekstil for the following purposes:
To seamlessly execute call center and customer relationship operations.
To receive, evaluate, and effectively resolve customer requests, suggestions, and complaints.
To ensure routing to the correct departments (Sales, Production, Accounting, Finance, Information Technologies) via the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and cloud PBX infrastructure.
To measure and audit our service quality and make process improvements through customer satisfaction surveys directed after the call.
To determine and implement the commercial and business strategies of our company.
To fulfill the burden of proof in possible future disputes, to provide information to authorized institutions, and to protect the legal rights of our Company.
3. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected automatically in electronic environments through the cloud PBX infrastructure and voice recording systems when you call our call center or are called by our company.
These data are processed based on the following legal grounds set forth in Paragraph 2, Article 5 of the KVKK:
c) Processing of personal data of the parties of a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract (Fulfilling order and service requests).
ç) It is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject (Keeping legal records).
e) Data processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of any right (Serving as evidence in legal disputes).
f) Processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Measuring service quality and executing PBX operations).
4. Transfer of Personal Data
GOS Tekstil protects your personal data in strict adherence to privacy principles and the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. As a rule, your personal data is not shared with third parties, and may only be transferred to the following recipient groups within legal obligations and operational necessities:
The General Directorate of Security, Courts, Prosecutor's Offices, and other authorized public institutions and organizations, upon request, to fulfill our legal obligations arising from the legislation and to conduct legal processes.
Law firms and consultants from whom services are received under confidentiality obligations, to defend the rights of our Company in potential legal processes.
Information technology service providers and infrastructure suppliers with whom we work under strict confidentiality agreements, to provide the technical infrastructure for call center operations, maintain cloud PBX (IVR) systems, and establish data security.
5. Retention Period and Destruction of Personal Data
Your personal data is retained in accordance with the periods stipulated in the KVKK and relevant legal legislation. Voice recordings and transaction information are kept for the maximum period required by the purpose of data processing within the scope of our Company's Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy. In the event that legal retention periods expire or the purpose of data processing ceases to exist, the data in question is irreversibly deleted, destroyed, or anonymized taking into account periodic destruction schedules.
6. Your Rights Under KVKK as the Data Subject
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK titled "Rights of the Data Subject," you can exercise the following rights by applying to the data controller:
To learn whether your personal data is processed or not,
To demand information as to if your personal data has been processed,
To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether these personal data are used in compliance with the purpose,
To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred in country or abroad,
To request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any, and to request the reporting of the operations carried out in this context to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data in the event that the reasons for the processing no longer exist despite being processed in accordance with the provisions of the KVKK and other relevant laws, and to request the reporting of the operations carried out in this context to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
To object to the occurrence of a result against the person themself by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems,
To claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
